Kinder, gentler site
The last couple weeks have been much more what I'd like to see this site be all the time. Helpful, friendly and welcoming.
We do notice and I like it.

I feel like I missed something about a week ago.
What does "Traveling" mean? Mine says "Skoolie" and Don's says "Almost There" and I've seen "New Member" and "Mini-skoolie" and "Bus Crazy", but never "Traveling"
I have noticed this is a more patient/polite/bus-centric place lately.

I picked up so much information, sound advice and got so many ideas for my build in this forum it's hard to believe. Took a lot of hours of scrolling through threads and viewing albums but I am sure glad I did it before I started my project.
My only problem is trying to create an album. Actually creating it isn't the problem - uploading photos to it is where I'm running into the roadblock. I resized my pics until they met the 600 pixel width limit and dropped the DPI to 72 but still couldn't upload them.
Error message: "Failed to write file. Check disc quotas and permissions for the path: /forumstorage/skoolie/albums/12/12008.picture"

I get the feeling it is a kin to banned or suspended. I could be wrong but people who are "traveling" don't seem to be posting any more and their activity tends to end.

I can't operate my message boards or my websites without my Photobucket account so I actually know how to use it. Problem is when trying to create an album I don't get the option to post either URLs or UBBC code from Photobucket - just the "upload" button.
Screenshot below is what I get.

They're all resized to 600 pixels and I don't think any of them are more than 90 kb. Ran into exactly the same thing on another forum a while back so I have a feeling the problem is on my end. Can't remember exactly what I did the last time but I will give it another try tomorrow.

Ever since the change over I have not been able to do the upload either, I always use photobucket

Instead of making an album I should really start a thread in " Skoolie Conversion Projects". That way I can use my Photobucket and you all can help me not make any blunders LOL.

Compared to some of the other Internet sites I visit, Skoolie is like getting together with old friends. A few of those friends may be a bit crusty at times, but still worlds better than the nasty investment sites I visit.
