I have seen other users have links to their build threads on here in their signatures, but when I try to use the BB code URL or THREAD, it says it is not allowed. I can understand not wanting external links to some degree, but linking to a thread here would seem to be mostly harmless. Mostly?

it is in the user control panel, edit signature
make sure you're signed in, pick "user cp" at the top of the page

cb look at my sig line now
all I did was take out extra wording and added this to end [/url]
I copied whole post to notepad and then
I removed:
add this to end
remove the spaces in between brackets so it looks normal
and removed spaces in bracket, then copied and pasted into sigline

out of curiosity i just looked at mine again.
i believe the options on the signature dialog box have changed. when i did mine there was an insert link button. it was simple.
now looking, i no longer have that button on the signature dialog box.
