No pictures while viewing old posts

While I am reading old post, Leap of
Faith, to be precise, the pictures are
all empty squares. If this is my fault
please correct me. I am not very good

I think it depends on where the pictures were hosted. If someone's account is no longer active, the link to the picture location might be dead.
