Odd PM activity?
Has anyone else ever noticed there are several forum "members" accounts who are constantly PM'ing but have 0 posts... and they've been members for years sometimes?
What yall think that's all about? Just seems so strange to me.
I just got a PM from someone with 0 posts and when I tried to reply it said their inbox was full??!

Yeah, I could see some of it being that. But there are more non-posting PM'ers on than actual participants most of the time.
When I tried to reply and the recipient's inbox was full I was a little surprised.
Mine's filled up before but I've been on here a TON.

I'm neither smart, nor historic enough to be on the receiving end. I've sent a few PMs cadillackid's way, but I try not to be a bother and get most of my information from reading.

We saw that we had a PM yesterday complimenting our paint color, but when we went to answer it later in the day it was gone with no record of it being there. Maybe there's a glitch?

This user has never posted, and has been Pm'ing since august of 2016.
There are probably hundreds or more of these profiles.

It's possible that something is being exploited in the forum software. It was abandoned 4 years ago.

You don't have a PM - you actually have a comment on your profile here: School Bus Conversion Resources - View Profile: Drew Bru
You get a notice when one is left ;)

Excellent! Could we get it updated to current security practices? Maybe even TLS encryption for the entire session? I'm no fan of cookie snatching (Firesheep).

I'm not trying to start any rumors. Just wanted to discuss the "ghost" members and how someone could constantly be pm'ing since 2015 but have 0 posts.

If you have a concern about a specific account shoot me a note and we can take a look. If you have received an odd PM please hit the report icon on the PM and we can see if there's a spammy account.
That said, we have many active members who have never posted. It's the nature of forums...
