Skoolie.net Revision 3

I decided that it is finally time to roll out a new version of the website. If you haven't seen the new main page yet go and check it out. During this process some things may not work/be broken and I hope you are patient while I upgrade and troubleshoot.

I figured that if we were to become the best source for school bus conversion we had better look the part and represent the whole conversion community in a positive manner.

http://www.skoolie.net/

For those who are wondering the bus on the front page is a beautiful Blue Bird that I camped next to two years ago in Iowa City.

-Steve

Wow that's slick Steve. Nice work. That bluebird sets the bar pretty high though .

Thanks for all your hard work, I really appreciate this community.

It's oh so pretty. But now I can't use the site on my mobile unless I bookmark the deep links.

Which will totally make a difference to like 2 people in the world ever.

Looking good but IMO its not required, personally I like a message board and web site plain clean and simple so new computers users can read and post with ease, you dont have to dazzle me or others with any fancy smancy graphics its the content here that impresses me and what really counts.

Thanks for the site and the time it takes to keep it running.

I do wish you would add the attachment mod... other than that this place kicks ass.

Thanks again.

Mann I hate to say this but... Although I like the flashly new look of the new front page, the old one seemed easier to check on the latest posts. It seems like there were more posts with the old set-up. Any way to get a recent post's set up on the new main page? Maybe it wouldnt work out but I miss the old style.

Dont mean to offend ya Steve, just my thoughts.

I'll let the secret out, for all of those who want to use the old page as their bookmark it still exists at the same location of http://www.skoolie.net/index.php

Use the backdoor. The new page is great for showing n00bs around and they are generally very impressed with the professional nature of Les' work.

Using the address http://www.skoolie.net/index.php will get you into the old site which may be better on your phone.

Personally, I like having two different methods of entering the site. I can count on the music letting me know my subwoofer is turned up.
