Skoolie Singles
I m trying to start a forum for Skoolie Singles. I thought I created this new group but I can't find it in the search. If I didn't do it correctly could someone like the Forum Administrator please start one? I m a single woman, just starting my bus conversion and hoping to hit the road next summer. It would be great to meet other single Skoolies to perhaps caravan together, share ideas on traveling alone or just making new Skoolie friends.

So is this going to be the place for single Skoolies or will we have a separate forum?
I really don't know how to launch this so please interested peeps, let's all figure it out.

Ya know.... I've been on the internet daily since about 1993.
I've been to some pretty dark places and seen a lot of things that can't be unseen, and seen some things I'd never talk about, nor visit again... But, for the life of me, I'd never heard of Ashley Madison before Josh Duggar exposed it!
The Internet is what you make of it... It's good, bad, and ugly! But, it can also be a wonderful resource.
Thank you Al Gore!

Christopher, as I posted in the first blush on this which I can't find, first off, I m not the boss, we all are in this together and as far as I m concerned we should be absolutely open to every gender, ethnicity, age or spiritual persuasion as long as there is no trying to shove ones beliefs off onto others. I m a lifelong equal opportunity amiga.
Being a single woman....no, no Adam's apple! I am ready to leave my ranch and entrepreneur life behind, but it would be nice to have single Skoolies to go into Mexico or anyplace with other kindred spirits. Please help me launch single Skoolies. I m located in southern Oregon amongst the wine and cannabis country.
I m quite impressed with the great reception to the single Skoolies idea, I am just not sure how to go about this other than the bright idea! (That being my forte...ideas)

One of the admins needs to create a new board for this, this section isn't really the place for it.
Or someone could download the software and set up an entirely new forum somewhere, like singleskoolies.net (if that's even available, I don't know).
I would do it myself but I have too much going on right now and after Wednesday of this week I'm not sure how my Internet access is going to play out (I will be living in my bus full time after then so won't have full time access like I've been used to).

Alleycat, your post is exactly what I am trying to say. I m not techy enough to figure out how or where to put single Skoolies but I agree we need a forum just for us. If the administrators can help us that would be fantastic! Thanks for the help in getting this off the ground....everyone!

See? The "others" just don't get us Skoolies. You would never have dinner alone again with Single Skoolies that understand our weirdness....er, ah I mean Uniqueness.

I tried posting to craigslist once, looking for like minded individuals...
Not even a nibble!

I'm kinda thinking it needs to take off in a separate direction... Such as a Facebook page where like minded individuals congregate. And no, I'm not a big proponent for FB either

Craigslist is "special" ive found... but yeah.. only nibble you get on CL.. is well.. perhaps the only ntrigue about a bus from CL would be the fact it has 16 rows of "back seats"...
in reality.. I often get lots of like minded individuals' attention by just driving the busses around...
and I do just that.. more than once ive used the DEV just to run errands in... the folks at IKEA thought it was Fantastic when i showed up to furnish my new florida apt in a a bus.. in fact I even helped some poor souls trying to load a bed on a minivan get their stuff home too.. the adults "fought" over who had to drive the van home and the rest rode the bus with me...
this new bus... a cpuple of my fuel stops i got thumbs up and acolades from people "oh ive always wanted to buy an old school bus !! thats so cool"...
alas im convinced that if you just get a bus and use it as a driver.. just cruise it around.. that you';ll meet like-minded people... that is the purpose of my second bus.. it will always stay a bus...
