I doubt there is anyone even there. Most of this type of spam is performed by scripts which scour the internet in search of a common forum software (like phpBB). Their scripts do the searching, creating accounts, posting, etc... as well as check for known bugs (un-updated software) to try to hack in and get emails.

I doubt they ever visited the site or know if its existence.

I don't think we want to require Captcha for every post.

If there are some people that would like to step up to be moderators and help me out. There are a couple now but they do not stay on top of things.

Always had it. The bots can adapt and I fix it when I upgrade, but we can't stop a human who gets paid pennies in russia to copy and paste spam messages onto the board.
