1954 Chevrolet bus ceiling height?

Hi all,
I've been shopping for a more modern bus under 30', but this one has just shown up. I'm looking for something mostly stationary to build out into a small house. Can anyone venture a guess on the interior height of this bus? I don't know but think it might be a Wayne body. Seller says it's 30ft long and has "plenty of headroom" but I'm just over 6' so it matters. Thanks!

Great looking bus you found there.
I'm thinking maybe the best option would be to ask the seller to get out a measuring tape and confirm it rather then just get a bunch of guesses.
Cheers

Of course you're right, but in the short term it's an issue of him going to a different property to do that, and if some wise person here could say off the top of their head that this style body never had more than 6' of headroom it would be a help to me. I wouldn't buy it sight unseen but it is a few hours away.

Thanks for the explanation, hope that works out for you.
Just from the photo I don’t see 6’ there but good luck. Still a great looking bus, almost looks like it deserves a restoration.
Cheers

No expert but I'm pretty sure those old buses were much shorter than modern ones, generally under 6'. Buses only started being built taller than 6' after Randy Newman's "Short People" hit the charts in 1977 and made it OK to hate short people.
