Ive got a 2005 thomas saftliner mvp fe with an allison b300 trans and my shifter looks exactly like that, as does the portion of the dash visible in the pic. Mine is a 6sp, though 6th gear needed to be 'enabled' by an allison tech.

If you have 'transit' style windows please try and see if they leak... mine do.

Buy it. Good engine and if that’s a 3036 transmission. You can go to Allison and ask them to make it a 6 speed. (Computer keystroke ). My 530e came with a 5 speed and the dealer gave me 6th gear with a keystroke. That same transmission is in cement mixers as a 4 speed. Cheers

Really poor advice. Allison will make you jump through hoops to change it to 6 speeds and the majority of people who try and get that done all fail. Just a word of warning.

It’s a Thomas bus so getting 6th gear on a md3060 shouldn’t be that bad; it isn’t guaranteed though. With a Bluebird it is not going to happen from what I understand. There’s a whole long thread out there on unlocking or enabling 6th in a md3060.
