Typically an 18 year old bus would have near 180K miles. Could have had the usual speedo replacement during it's life. Hours may be more accurate than the speedo.

If its an MD 3060 it's a great bus. I paid for a similar 2,500.00

If the hours were accurate at 9500, wouldn’t it be around the time it would be needing a rebuild? How much would that cost?

im at almost 10,000 on my T444E and it still runs like a Champ.. ive got it tuned and am getting ready to put injecotrs in it but have no reason to believe it needs rebuilt yet.. a lot is how an engine is cared for.. ive seen some with 15,000 hours srtill running beautiful and ive seen some at 7000 hours with so much blow-by it was fogging for mosquitos out the draft tube.. you just have to check it out.. listen to it.. look at the blowby.. drive it.. does it skip? does it run smooth? etc

Can't help on the miles/hours discrepancy but the seller likely knows its the last year of good, low maintenance on the emissions side, diesel engines.

Might bring a code reader to hook into the OBD port to get actual mileage from the computer...

This bus won’t have OBD connector, you’ll need a 9 pin Deutschland style and a j1708 reader to get the real hours Miles

I'm not really sure what being clean brings to the table on a bus listing. It could mean that it's been well-maintained throughout its life, or that it was just cleaned by the flipper who just bought it at auction. Or that the seller carefully selects their listing pics - my bus looked shiny and new in all of its pics and was badly rusted underneath all of that.
