2009 E350 Shuttle Bus

Im looking to buy a small bus to convert into a mini toy hauler to take to dirt bike races and on camping trips. I have a listing on my local Facebook marketplace for a 2009 Ford E350 Super Duty shuttle bus with a handicap lift and 170k miles. Im interested but I would like to know where I could find information on what particular motor and transmission Ford put in these busses. This would be my first bus and first diesel vehicle so any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

As long as it's not the infamous 6.0 Power Stroke, you should be good. Plenty of discussion on the site on this particular engine and it's shortcomings...
Seller can't tell you what they have?

Good luck, and make sure to thoroughly check out the undercarriage for rot, and the drivetrain for less chance of trouble under the hood...

The seller probably could tell me some stuff about it but I wanted to go into it with as much prior knowledge as I can before I go look at it.

But thank you! Ill definitely be on the lookout for that stuff!
