30 or 50 amp system?

I am in the process of aquiring parts for the spring conversion. I currently have a 30 system. Some of which will be replaced with heartier marine parts. My question is should I go with the 30 amp system which will meet my needs at this point (I think) or should I scrap the 30 and go for the 50 amp system? The reason for the hesitation is mostly financial. Most 50 amp parts are very expensive and I am more comfortable working with a 30 amp system since that is what I originally installed. However I can learn.

Now I know the subjectivness of this. How much power do I need? What am I going to be running? Where will I be getting my power?

What systems are people happy with? If you could do it over again what would you do differently?

It is just like building a house you can have 100 amp but why now just go with 200 amp and never have to bother with it again. Most if not all new campgrounds are 50 amp. Another thing to consider is A/C, it is darn hard to run two of them on 30 amp.

I second that sentiment. I have a 50 Amp set-up. If I end up somewhere that only has 30 Amp supply, I can always use my converter. I don't come near using 50 amps now, but may in the future.

The price difference is negligible. Beef it up now, rather than upgrade later.
