I have bought quite a number of things very obviously from a similar situation, equally as sketchy and “too good to be true” that have actually come through. No reason to stop now.
It was weird, I started a dispute and the seller actually sent tracking info that was as bogus as the sale. eBay refunded all monies after a couple of month
