7.3 powerstroke fuel filter location

I can't seem to find it, someone told me it was under the hood of my airporter style shuttle bus, but is obviously not there. I think it is under some kind of cover, but if I have to take the dog house off, what area to look? Thanks

I'm unfamiliar with your specific bus, but if you follow the fuel line from the tank you're bound to find your filter.

Right in the middle of the engine-where you would expect a carburator would be. Its not a screw on style-there is a plastic cover usually with a 1/2" sq in it to stick a 1/2" rachet in.

There may also be one along the frame rail.

yes thats the fuel filter in the picture.. that cap unscrews.. on my 444E I think it was a 3/8 ratchet.. mine was stuck on pretty good so I helped it along by also using vice grips on one of the "ribs".. and it came loose.

be careful of the O-ring, your new filter element should come with a new one.. but if it doesnt, be careful it does rip easy.
