about 10 mpg and yes it will pull a boat..I have 1989 7.3 shorty and pull a 16'trailer with stuff for tailgating onit

Since you didn't put a price I assume you're getting it for free. That's a great price.

A good friend of mine had a farm truck with a 6.9. Many people don't like that engine but he did. I thought it did pretty good. He got 300k+ out of it before he parked it. The engine basically out lived the rest of the truck.
