mark really the only way to figure that one out is to read the CIN with DOC and then get a CIN report to show all the parameters.. or look through DOC at the various settings.

Here is some info on needing the 500k ROM in order to be able to program for unlock.
When the manufacturer says it too old they are probably saying that because of the ROM size.

WTEC3: Remap customer supplied WT3* with 6-spd program and return ship = $300. If you purchase a new WT3, a 6-spd cal upgrade is currently free if you want one. *NOTE: We only work with 500KB ROM WTEC3s – 29537291 / WT3ECU909 or (numerically) higher. If yours is an old 250KB variant you will need to update.
