Adapter for water inlet

My fresh water inlet is 1.6 ( link below).
) but my tank inlet is 1 3/8". Do you just choose 1 3/8 hose pipe in this case and some sort of adapter; to reduce from 1.6 to 1 3/8? I can't seem to find adapter from that. Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem where my inlet was 1.5in OD and my tank had a 1.25 neck. I have a few inches of hose on the inlet and then I have a 1.5>1.25 reducer going to a 1.25in hose.

Was it difficult to find the adapter? Did you get it in regular construction shop? Or had to go to rv plumbing shop or so?

That's a lot of chinesium.

I generally try to avoid putting that kind of stuff in critical systems.

American or Mexican -made parts.

Or I would make them myself, since I've got a machine shop at my disposal and the skills to use most of it.
