Air conditioning

I’m going to need an AC unit because we’ll have a dog on board. I’d prefer a ceiling unit but I’m open to ideas. However I am on a budget and some of the ceiling units are well over a grand. What kind of AC do you use and what do or don’t you like about it?

I have two RV air conditioners and a generator. It works great when parked, but this kind of unit can't stay cool when driving. Dometic air conditioners sound like jet engines though. One AC will keep half the bus cool, but I need 2 for the whole thing.

There are engine-driven air conditioners available to stay cool when driving. Otherwise, you mostly need to stay cool with open windows while driving.
