Air seat removal

I'm trying to remove the driver's air seat, but I can't figure out how to unhook the airline. Below is a picture of the fitting (at least I think that's it). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Push in on the ring at the end and the line should come out

Like Kubla said! It's a "push on the ring and pull on the tubing at the same time" process. If it fights you, get an adjustable (Crescent) wrench and adjust the jaws to fit around the tubing, then slide it against the fitting for some extra pressure. Sometimes, it takes about 3 hands...or two hands and a foot. You have to hold the fitting in one hand, compress the end/ring into the fitting, and while doing so pull out the tubing. Post a video when you do!

Jumping in a bit late - is there any risk of disconnecting the air to remove the driver's seat temporarily?
I should just be able to re-connect the air hose, right?

I would love to install a swivel base - but don't want to loose my air ride capability (so nice!)

No Worries...worst case scenario you might have to trim maybe 1/8-1/4" from the end of the hose if it refuses to seat properly when you re-install. This is normal..

And if you do trim it use a razor blade not diagonal cutters. You don't want to kink/crush the hose.

You can cut it and then buy some quick detach air couplers off amazon for when you want to reconnect it again.

I did this when I upgraded my stock air seat to one from a semi (I recommend everyone do this, even the crappiest semi truck seat is miles better than anything ever put in a school bus). You can get a whole bag of push to connect air hose fittings for $10 on amazon.

It's an o-ring seal so if you trim it try to make a square, clean, cut.
