Airstream twinkie Crown lovers...

All y'all should note the several Crowns on ebay from my fine state of Washington... going cheap.

Makes me think my 3 grand for my BB AA was steep. Especially since I ain't got the keys yet, and my money's gone...

Ebay for ya. I must have faith in the force. Or karma.

No worries...yet

Well, I don't want to get worked up about it yet, as I paid after the Ebay auction and then we both left town before we could exchange title/keys. (It just so happens we're in the same general area.) I've been on it and have been taking measurements and such while it's been parked in storage. We should have the transfer done this weekend since we'll both be back in Seattle then, but if something else gets in the way and it doesn't happen I'll be getting worried!

The funny thing is that while I would expect to get buyer's remorse about buying a bus--perhaps the king of impractical vehicles--I have absolutely none, and can't wait to start working on it. The thing I'm worried about is simply getting screwed and not getting the bus at all. Ebay has a $20,000 insurance deal on "qualified" passenger vehicles, but I'll bet that the bus doesn't qualify.

I'm thinking about booting it so it can't drive away...

I'll post when the question resolves itself!
