Another use for my bus!

I've had this stump in my front yard for four months. We had a bad ice storm here back in early December. The military housing office has been worthless when it comes to removing it. I've tried getting it out with my truck, and my neighbor has a big 4x4 diesel truck that just spun the tires trying to get it out. Then, last night, my wife suggested the bus! I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. So, I went and got it this morning. I have a big logging chain that I used too. I wrapped the chain around the top of the stump and around the big azz tow hook on the back of my bus. I got it rocking a few times and that stump came out! Finally! I love my bus!

I have always wanted to try that with my bus, I thought it could do it but I wasn't sure.

I can hardly wait until you need to straighten or bend something stout, and realize that you can do it by driving a bus tire over it!

No, they're giving me the run around about hauling it off. I'm really starting to get ticked! If it's not gone by tomorrow, I'll go get my bus, and drag it down the road and drop it off at this tree branch disposal area they have set up. It's sitting on my curb right now, and trash day is tomorrow. I'm sure the trash guys won't take it either. We'll see. I'm really tempted to go late tonight and drop it off in front of the housing maintenance office. I've been bitching about this stump to them so much though, they would surely know it was me.

LOL. I was thinking that looked familiar and finally realized why... At the bottom of this page:

Jake VonSlatt has a photo of a stump he pulled with his bus.
