Anyone ever heard of this this?

I've seen many busses with the volkwagen welded to the roof and i'm wondering....... has anyone ever seen a westfalia pop top on top of a skoolie without half the van up there? just the pop top? I'd love to have the additional headroom and airflow when I want it and also be able to fit under low clearance bridges, ect. and just having the closed topper mounted up there would add a good bit of head room. Just searching the web for proof of it being done and coming up short. anybody ever seen one?

You also could build your own pop top framework whatever size you wanted and build the top and install it..
and water test it.
bus nuts are creative... just read some of the older posts...

Ha ha yes, a crazy idea indeed! Thanks for the links. This is the inspiration I need. I'm going to start my big skoolie renovation project in the next few months. I'll be posting my first pictures on this site. We'll see where this idea brings me.
