Back panels

Hi friends. So I’ve stripped almost all the standard stuff. I’m curious on these back panels and next to wheelchair door. Better to take them off, insulate properly and start fresh? Or do they have some structural significance? Any other thoughts?? Thanks again everyone! This community has helped me so much along the way so far.

If you don't take them off and insulate behind them, that's one more area where the insulation will be lacking... It's up to you how thorough you go on the disassembly and insulation. IDK if your plan would involve putting them back on or fabricating some other panel, but on my Thomas body, they were a ßïŧƈƕ to reinstall due to the way the window gasket sits in the wall. Thanks! My desire is to take out and insulate properly. They have soooo many screws all the way around I wondered if it was a structural component… Thanks for the advice!
