Basement AC how to

Hello!
OK, maybe I'm being a dork, but I cannot find a good thread (hopefully more than one) on how to install a basement type AC. I have searched multiple times, and get threads from conversions. They are very interesting to me, but I need to focus on just parts with the basement AC construction. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Maybe page numbers on build threads or teach the newbie how to do a proper search? I don't know.
