"Basement" height??
What is a typical height for the "basement" on a skoolie? I'm sitting here in NC at my parent's place, looking at several old 100 lb LP tanks that my father had collected (I think I have a total of 6). They have a circumference of 47" and roughly 36" high excluding the bottom rims and top LP Valve. I thought they might do for waste water tankage. I'm just not sure how much room I have for a "Basement" We will extend the skirt between the front and rear wheels and enclose to create heatable bays for the tankage and to help keep the floor warmer in the winter. I also want to add an additional fuel tank (my Dad also seems to have acquired an extra oval shaped fuel tank from a truck... I have no idea where and why he collected up some of the stuff) to the skoolie bus as I like to buy my fuel when it's cheap. Just got back from a working camping trip in Newport News so we are still reeling from "Pump shock". Luckily we ran across the state line to GA to get gas before heading up there. The only thing worse than the fuel prices in VA was the food prices! So David is currently all for an extra fuel tank and BIG freezer.
