I use shade sails on my house in the summer as I don't have AC. It helps a lot. The first thing I bought for the bus is shade sails. You have to put them up when you stop, it's not permanent. I'll have to see how I'm going to tie them. It gets easier every time I put them up in the summer. Learning the right knots helps. They have them at Costco.
