Two years in, I finally have a small kitchenette in the works. However, space is extremely limited. The kitchenette is really small, as it basically just fills the space between my bed/dinette and the head. This space also contains a diesel heater (bottom left), a Dometic refrigerator (vented with two 12cm fans triggered by a relay attached to the fridge's fan), and a sink big enough to bath a newborn in.
This leaves me with two narrow and vertical cupboards and two short and deep drawers (and also the under sink storage).
What would be the best way to build them out? Use sliders for the vertical cupboards? Just use a door with no interior hardware to save on space? Any particular locking mechanism? Should the drawer sides just be metal rods to save on space? If you had to build yours again, would you do anything differently?
