Best price for rivets?

Roof raise and re-sheeting sides, forehead and rear.

They don't seem to have the 1/4" rivets for this. Jay-Cee has them: https://www.rivetsonline.com/closed-...4ffph/pr84ffph.

BTW, I bought a number of these for my bus and they are all around 0.26" diameter rather than their nominal 0.25", so you'll need a bigger drill bit than whatever you were thinking.

Not sure if this is exactly what you were looking for: https://bylerrivet.com/products/blin...rivet-316-dia/

The URL says 3/16", but the description says 1/4". If you look under blind rivet s, they have many various ones available as "open-end", but a small selection under "closed-end". They even have copper/brass in open-end...

I'm not sure which type of rivets exactly I may want in the near future, but the site looks pretty reasonable for selection.

Thanks for the pointer to Jay-Cee. I like Byler, but I'll pay more if needed just to be able to see pricing and order...which I see Jay-Cee shows. It's a pain having to complete a quote request with Byler, then wait for pricing. I like instant! Need rivets now... <said in a gruff growly voice>

That may be a strong factor in my buying path too I don't like having to do the quote stuff either.

I also am curious on what the closed-end rivets look like when deployed.

This is what the 1/4" blind closed-end SS rivets look like:

I put a little dab of Dynatron-550 into the hole in the middle of each one for aesthetics, otherwise the holes would be deeper.

From the front, I can't tell the difference between a closed or open end rivet.

Amazing to be ~10 posts into a thread on rivet prices without a single $ number...

For small lots (e.g. 100 / 250 / 500) of open ended blind rivets 1/8" diameter 0.188"-0.250" grip range recently I think I've paid ~$0.06 each for zinc plated and ~$0.07 for stainless. That's via Amazon so there is likely a cheaper way to buy them through a supplier and in larger quantities.

That's how mine come out, and exactly what I do.
