blue bird cummins pump?
what pump would be on the 5.9 cummins in a blue bird tc2000? i know dodges of that era used the bosch ve, but that's the only chassis i have experience with the motor in.
i would assume other vehicles it was used in during that time got the same, but i want to verify.

I would think that it's the rotary pump as well since they used that pump in most applications I've seen from what..89-92 or something along those lines. I'm sure there's a tag on the pump somewhere. My pump has a tag on it.

My 1992 TC2000 has the inline pump, known as the P pump (P-7100).
Dodge pickups did not get this pump until a couple years later.
So... either BB got the inline pump while Dodge used the rotary VE,
or my bus has been retrofitted.
Both types are made by Bosch. They are easy to tell apart -- the inline
has all six lines coming out of it straight up in a line front to rear.

interesting.
yeah, dodge didn't get the inline p pump until 94.
i don't pick my bus up until next month, but i was going to go ahead and start gathering some conversion parts, pump mods, etc.

What little I (think I) know about these engines, I learned here:

And those pumps are not cheap at all.... best bet on them is to find a company that rebuilds them...

when i said parts, i meant for the rv conversion itself.
the pump is fine, i'm just doing some fueling upgrades (depending on which one it turns out to be).

When you get it home, let us know which pump, please. If it's a rotary, then mine
may have been retrofitted.

My 92, has a P-pump on it. The records say nothing about it being upgraded. My tractor pulling buddy has been eye-balling it up.
