Bow / Frame Member Attachment

For all of you who own Blue Birds, and were wondering about what they used to attach the roof bows to the rest of the bus...

Fellas.... I was shocked....

I removed the outer skin because I'm planning on putting a door there and it turns out that the roof bows /frame members, aside from being riveted to the roof, headers, outer skin, interior walls and bottom chair rail, (which incidentally wraps down along the floor to the outside and is covered by the outer skin), is not attached by any mechanical fastener, nor is it welded to the floor, but sits in a big gob of goo....
