From tip to tail my conventional 65 passenger (11 window) Wayne is 36 feet long. Usable interior space is probably something like 28 feet.

Mine is a 10 window and I have about 25' of useable space inside. When I was looking at buses, I always counted the windows and multiplied by 2.5'. That usually gave me a rough idea of how much space there was inside! If the total bus length is 20', I'd say that's pretty short. Maybe you mean 20' of interior room. You could definately work with that I'd think.

My thomas is 32' total. I wish I had purchased a longer one or transit style. Oh well next one will be an MCI or similar. (I dont mean to offend anyone by mentioning MCI)

I'm not sure about overall width, but my usable width, as measured from the inside of the seat rail to the other inside seat rail is 87 inches and each seat rail is 1.5 inches long. I guess you could say it's 90 inches wide, but I used the area under the seat rail for running my wiring and plumbing. If you want a really wide bus, look for an old city type transit bus as they tend to be 102 inches inside.

DOT legal width without permits and plackards is 102" outside measurement, anything wider than that is by permit or at your own risk.

My inside length is about 19 1/2. That is from back wall up to the dash in the front.
