My bus is 92" wide on the inside. I also have 25' of usable space behind the driver. I found that a good way to estimate how much space is inside a bus just by looking at the picture, it to count the windows and multiply by 2.5 feet! My bus is a 10 window bus and I have 25 feet of space. This is why I want one of those big 15 window buses. That's 37.5 feet of usable space. But 2.5 feet per window is a really close estimate as far as interior space.

Ditto on the post above. You can pretty much determine the lenght of a School Bus by counting the windows... 30" per window is a good rough estimate. Though different bus manufacturers have various sizing, they are all pretty much the same specification on the seating, probably a minimal federal requirement of some kind... You'll get 2.5 feet (30 inches) of bus for each window. I have a 12 window unit, plus 4 for the drivers section and the very rear (rear engine bus), overall length of my bus is 34' with about 30' of floor space from the stairs to the rear seat...

Width may vary a little too, but inside dimension on mine is 90" and that is likely pretty standard too...

Mine is a 1990 Bluebird All American (rear engine) that has 13 windows, 14 rows of seats and is rated for 84 kids. From the stairs back to the start of the first level of the engine box is 31'3" and it's about 91.5" from wall to wall (not counting the chair rails).

what a cool subject! my old bus is 30.5 feet long end to end flame bus has 25 feet behind seat and is 60 pass wow can you imagine your bus with 60 people how many people per foot!

My '88 Carpenter is a 54 passenger. Interior dimensions are 24'L x 7'3"W, measured from behind the driver's seat on toward the back.
