BUS Parts
Is there a website that sells universal *NEW* Bus parts such as Lenses for lights, door sweeps etc.... i seen some lens covers at Advanced auto parts the other day and they look about the right size for the bus, they also sell parts for my international 345 5.6L. Where are u guys getting the lenses with the arrows on them for the tail lights i want to get some for my bus, also does anyone know the exact fluid capacities for the 345 5.6 liter automatic at540, i need the oil capacity and the tranny fluid capacity. Also anyone know if they make a tranny tune up kit for the at540 and if so where i can get one thanks in advance

Are the speedos tranny related, or part of the bus body? You should be looking for the speedo for the Y/M/M of bus you have.

I think it would be the opposite. The same speedo for the bus, regardless of what tranny.

are you talking about the VSS that goes into the tranny or the gauge? there are VSS which are designed to thread into the trans, but they just output a standard AC signal which a speedo is designed to pick up.. the speedo is part of the chassis manufacturer

I don't know if I'm in the right forum, but here it goes;
I am looking for the trim, gasket, (whatever it is called) that goes in-between the school, bus flat cowl and the chassis section that the hood is attached to
I have called all over and no one seems to know what I'm talking about

For a bus that age you’ll likely have to make one.. it’s essentially a Somewhat flexible seal.. on my loadstar 1978 it looks like an actual rubberized piece. On my red bus it simply looks like a flexible caulk was used..
You can go look at some modern new school busses made by IC, thomas, this r bluebird and see if their cowl seals look anything like the material you need and maybe it could be sold in bulk or sourced.

Hello all,
I have a 1998 International. Took a trip to a business conference and upon returning discovered that the fuel gauge is inaccurate. It read 1/2 but was actually empty. I would like to know if the fuel assemble and the float together all piece or can I get the float separately.?
