Bus roof coatings

Any material used for "insulating " a roof should be carefully be chosen. The best material to use s a white white shiny, highly reflective paint. Materials that are supposed to be some type of insulation are not a good choise. After this type of material is applied to roof, the small dimples and voids capture dust and dirt and negate and light reflection. Removing the insulating material is difficult. No coating is better than some insulating coating. Just another lesson in life. A harbor freight temp gun will show any temp changes in and on bus. There is a guy somewhere in Arizona who uses a very temp canvas or tent over to reduce interior temps. He made some quicky posts and supports fro the sun barrier. Yep the shade is very white.
