cant find block heater

have 89 thomas with 7.3 cant find cord for block heater surely it has one

Not everything does, they don't automatically install one. Look at the freeze plugs on both sides of engine, that's where they are located on most engines.

this is my 4th 7.3 and the damn thing doesnt have a block heater I guess crap its cold in Alabama

I wouldn't bother plugging it in until it is colder then 10F out. my 7.3 starts okay at -20. just cycle the plugs a couple times and she should chug to life.



Just about as bad my cousin the other day "so thankful for heated seats and a heated steering wheel in 40 degree weather!!!!!" lmao

I probably need to check out the glow plugs, havent checked them out in 2 years...
