Has anyone cut speakers into their ceiling? I have a Thomas with the steel ceiling intact. I’m going to cover it with that 1/4” wainscoting from Lowe’s.. I’m worried about distortion caused by humming sheet metal. Should I be concerned?
Our ceiling had speakers already installed. I did widen the holes a bit when I installed replacement speakers. Since the roof has insulation, it does not vibrate unless I crank up the speakers to the max and then it is from the speakers being overdriven.
