How do I tell who made my bus' chassis?

I thought BlueBird manufactured our bus. That is all I know. No other name is on the id plates or on the SC title.

The body ID tag, over the driver's window, usually says "incomplete vehicle manufactured by..."

However, many flat-nose buses were built on in-house chassis. A Blue Bird All American most likely has a Blue Bird chassis.
