Check this out

I was delivering parts to a tree farm this week, and when I walked into their garage I spotted this thing. They are using it to haul uprooted tree's, they have 2 rows of seats in the cabin, and space behind the rear row for tools & equipment...

Re: Check this out

A local school district built something like that, I saw it when I was working in the district garage. There was a heavy-duty wrecker mechanism on the flatbed, and a mechanic's tool chest instead of seats in the cabin behind the driver. The body was repainted red. If I recall correctly, I think they called it the "International Retriever." I don't know if they still have it. I should swing through the parking lot next time I'm over that way, and see if I can get a picture.

Re: Check this out

There is another bus around here that I haven't taken any pictures of yet, it's a full length dognose, they cut the roof off, removed the window glass but left the window frames in place, the only roof is over the drivers area. It's operated by a local junk yard, they pile crushed car's into it and haul them over to the scrap yard where they are lifted out with a giant electro-magnet...
