Choking on fumes with rear window A/C unit?

For those of you who have residential style window A/C units tucked into the rear windows of your bus, how do you stop the bus fumes from coming inside while traveling down the road?

As you can see, I'm going to have to deal with this next weekend when I go pick up the bus, and would like to plan ahead to get an idea of what to bring with me to block off the units to keep from being fumigated (again).

Re: Choking on fumes with rear window A/C unit?

I have one in the rear of my bus, and haven't noticed any fumes coming in. I did seal all around it very carefully, maybe that helped? If the units fresh air vent is closed (set to recirculate) and the unit is sealed properly, it shouldn't let any fumes in...

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to check the vent setting on the units before we leave, but also have a roll of ductape and a couple of trash bags with me "just in case".

I'm getting pretty excited about picking up the bus next week. Can't wait to start tearing into the kingpin and cleaning up the motor! Woo! It's gonna be HOT work this time of year.
