Class C Jayco going up for sale maybe - would you strip out stuff for a skoolie build

I currently own a 99 jayco class C 30 something foot motorhome with the two valve Ford V10 gas engine.

It's intact and works. I'm upgrading to newer and nicer.
I'm not going skoolie because I'm doing a loan on RV.

It's got all the RV systems like a toilet and black tank. Gray tank. Freshwater tank and pump. Various 12 volt lights. A microwave. The propane furnace. 30 amp electric service and panel. 1 rooftop air conditioner. Jack knife couch. Shower plumbing fixtures (outdoor and indoor). All the various valves etc.

I'm thinking the RV would be priced in the $5k to $9k range (haven't really researched).

Is this the type of thing that a school bus project person would be able to take and incorporate many systems? Especially since they could sell the RV on to someone who wants the motor or other things like used tires?

Yes, it is.
It's also the kind of thing that requires twice as much work, ripping out an old and used system to install into something new.

I wouldn't expect to get fair value out of it for a skoolie project, though. Maybe if it's priced just above whatever trade-in value the dealer might offer for it, you might find a skoolie driver interested. Or someone with some extra land to park it on.
