Cleaning the Carpets?

my bus is an old shuttle bus and has commercial rubber flooring and commercial carpet for the walls and ceiling. due to not air tight windows and seals, most of the carpet on the walls under and beside the windows is dirty/dusty etc.

so whats the best way to clean it up? i doubt a regular vacuum is gonna get it all out. and its really tough carpet so i doubt a carpet cleaning machine will do the job. that little hand held attachement for furniture would take forever to do the walls with.

Do you have a Shop-Vac? I would try that first.

I hear ya about the wind! You are getting all of my leftovers! All I could think when I was on the roof of my bus installing the vent was that if I slipped and the wind took the vent away that someone in Saskatchewan is going to get a free vent! You know why they say we always get such a strong west wind....it's because BC blows (sorry Timbuk) and Manitoba sucks.

Okay...I was being nice...we usually say it's because BC blows and Saskatchewan sucks, but I guess it just depends where you live... I blame all those big windmills they are putting out in the foothills. Add some power to one of those and you can create quite a wind!!!

Fan effect. One side sucks, the other blows. Just depends on which side your on at the time.
