Collins Bus Stalled & Now Won’t Start

Hi guys, I have a (new to me) 2010 Collin’s short bus with a Duramax Diesel engine. Recently after starting the bus and letting it run while putting my new licenses plates on it, the bus shut off after about 5 minutes of idling. Ever since it will not start. Batteries are charged up, no codes or dash lights on. It might be worth nothing that the back door was open and the alarm was sounding when it shut off but she will not start anymore with it shut (and unlocked).

Any help is welcome!!

shut and unlocked?
pull the handle down and latch it.
now on to more stuff?
will it crank with no start?
or nothing when you turn the key?
putting a plate on has nothing to do with the engine running.
fuel filters or lazy pump but if it was either of those they might have sold it.
**** in my head .
i have worked on the early 2000 version of the duramax and it in the early years had problems as well as any manufacturer in first year production.
never buy a new idea? because they havent put it through its paces in a real world scenario. engineering wise everything works on the stands? it has no load on the stands?
a full DYNO would give actual tire on the ground results

Tried latching the door and making sure it was unlocked before trying to start. Nothing at all happens when I turn the key. I’ve replaced the ignition switch think maybe it was that but it did not work.

This was my recent experience with my international.

It happened to another poster a year ago.

May not be the same for you, but something to check.

Exclamation Fixed

Two problems found:

1) Found that power was making it into the fuse block but was not coming out the other end. Replaced the fuse block.
2) Also replaced the ignition switch and re-programed the keys because the bus was in "Theft Deterrent" mode. She runs great!

Woo hoo! Great feeling when you hear it crank.

Enjoy.
