converting bus into a trailer

I was thinking about maybe getting a new bigger bus...but it's hard to let go all my hard work. I have instead thought about maybe making a bus trailer for towing behind my bus. I think maybe airbrakes...I'm not sure electric would be enough. What are your thoughts?

seems like a bus has the wrong weight distribution to be a trailer? crazy heavy tongue weight?

is that something that effectively adds a set of wheels to the front of a trailer but still allows for a hitch-pull?

would be easy just to buy old travel trailer n gut it or change as desired. however, of course it is possible to cut off the front of the desired bus-trailer and remove the spring hanger rivets n move the rear axle assy up forward to make a properly balanced trailer. of course, tongue n brake system is essential. changing rear suspension types, extending or shortning frames is very common for trucks.
Also would not be difficult to buy two or three mobile home axles with brakes and build your own trailer... trailer supply places even have the normal type of hubs, etc for regular wheels...

I would think that the weight overall, not just the tongue weight, would be a big concern.

A thought that I had entertained was to purchase a junk travel trailer and stripping it to the frame. Then, build a new structure on the frame that matches the bus appearance.

Just a thought.
