Couch Mounting

We are starting to get the furniture ordered for the bus. The wife wants mid-mod style look to the interior. All of those style love seats have very thin long legs on them. I am concerned about bolting that to the floor. I don't think that it is strong enough should we get into an accident. I would rather get a couch that has nice, fat 4" thick legs on it. What is everyone doing to keep their couches/ love seats secured in the bus? It will be mounted parallel to the left side of the bus and right along the wall.

I deconstructed my couch and rebuilt it on a sturdier 2x4 frame which I then screwed to the wall framing and the plywood floor, starting here: https://www.skoolie.net/forums/f11/r...tml#post431224.

Of course, I got my couch on Craigslist completely for free. I'm not sure I would have had the moral courage to chop up something I'd paid for like this.
