Anyone have any couch plans/measurements? Something simple for the front lounge.

Re: Couch plans

What is your woodworking skill level? Or how much effort do you want to put into it?
what style? Free or pay? I like free. But then I am FRUGAL! Not all these sites have sofas. But they may have something you (or someone else) would like to make.

Re: Couch plans

hello opus. I put my fresh water tanks behind the drivers seat with a water heater and plumbing compartment directly behind the tanks and then built my couch around them ( securing it to the floor obviously). I then attached a flip up table to the top of the bench that also doubles as a bed that connects to the other bench seat across from it (that bench seat has a built in bookshelf and a hinged top with storage around it). then i picked up an old futon mattress that fits the bench seat (behind the drivers chair) and doubles as the bed mattress when the bed is layed out. I guess it all depends on the layout of your bus tho. hope this helps, let me know if you want picts or drawings.
