Bus has had leaks, led to mold underfloor. I need to cut out sections of floor and clean/remove/disinfect area. Best tool and technique for this? Multitool? Sawzall is too inaccurate, I need precision.
if its just mold and not rusted through metal then get a product called mold stat.
it works and is what the pros use for hurricane clean up repairs and for any kind of water damage.
5 years ago a hurricane took half the roof off of my house and that stuff is what saved my trusses. a couple of treatments and i have not had any mold come back and that is with gabled louvres allowing air ventilation.
of course it is very strong and a concentrate so follow the instructions and safety.
I'm still going to cut out pieces of floor and clean and replace. Thoughts on best tool/technique? Oscillating multitool seems best thing to use to my eye.
Depending on the size you need to cut out, but a grinder will work as well. That rubber will smell horrible though using it as it burns the rubber in the process, but you can cut pretty precisely and once you see sparks, you know you're through.
