Deleting the disabled access doors?

Has anyone ever deleted their disabled access double doors?

We are winterizing the bus as we intend to continue living in the mountains and the disabled doors give us a headache in terms of insulating, and has already caused some leak/rust issues that we are currently tackling. (See below)

What would be the simplest way of deleting the whole door? Fibreglass sheet riveted and glued with interior wood bracing to tackle the flapping?

Does anyone have any photos of similar work?

Thanks!

I did and for a lot of the same reasons, plus it just didn't work with my layout. I welded in a couple ribs and reskinned it like my bus windows.

Hadn't seen double doors before. I did what jonb8 did. Remove the door, weld in framework, reskin.

Go to the UserCP and fill out your profile, it'll help answer your questions related to your bus and area.
