Doghouse/ engine cover replacement or tips?

Hi everyone!

I’m finally on my way to relocating my bus for its conversion. obviously there’s a lot more important things ahead of this but i was wondering if anyone knows where i could get a replacement for my old engine cover? it’s a billion years old (jk, but close enough) and it needs a LOT of help, and i was just overall hoping i could just replace the whole thing instead. maybe even something slimmer?

it’s no longer air tight and the latches to hold it down on the sides don’t work anymore.

I worked with one

similar or exactly the same bluebird all american front engine, hers needed new gasket/weather strip around main cover and smaller cover. I think new gaskets will solve all her problems.

go to bluebird dealer or try steele rubber products - you will have search their catalogue yourself.
