Drip rail. On or off?

I'm raising my roof. Should I take the drip rail off or can I just slide the sheet metal under there? What did you do...Hate rivets. Lol

With that many rivets it is more than just a drip rail I'd guess. I'd leave it and slide the metal up under it and seal it with Sikaflex 220+ .

i removed all the rivets in mine, slid the panels up into it and drilled/riveted it back in place. pain in the ass for sure, but it felt like the right thing to do.
