Ebay Tankless Water Heaters?

Hey alls,

So looking around for a relatively cheap option for a tankless lp water heater for our THUMB build. The shower will not be used often.. more for when we are between sites so spending top dollar isn't necessary in my opinion.

Was looking at amazon and most seem to run around $2-300. For giggles, I got on e-bay and they were running ~$80 for something pretty similar.

Has anyone used one of these?

I'm seeing a few reviews online that seem to be pretty solid but wanted some more real world use reviews.

Thoughts?

I haven't used that one but we've had great luck with the Ecco Temp, which are about 150 bucks. I've installed three in the last year and the oldest one is about 7 years old and still going strong. I think the Camplux is the same thing.

Install it in a way such that it is vented to the outside, which is pretty easy to do really. And then plumb it into your hot water line and turn it up to max heat. Then if you have a mixing valve in your shower you can adjust the temperature inside just like you would at home.

It's ventless and about $230+.

They are priced from ~80 - ~120 for the same unit with different labels on the front.
